How much energy is used to make a computer
Did you know that 70% of the energy used in the lifetime of a laptop gets consumed when it is manufactured?
Whilst we at Refurbo are more than happy to sell you a refurbished device we challenge you to ask yourself do you need one?
First things first check what ram and hard drive you have in your laptop if you have 2 or 4 GB then you could consider upgrading to 8GB or more if the machine allows.
The next thing to check is what type of Hard Drive you have. If you have a standard Hard drive and not an SSD (Click this link to go to our Hard Drive buying guide), then this will be the quickest and most effective way to speed up your computer.
Lastly, your operating system, Windows 7 and 8 had a much more substantial footprint than Windows 10. Also with Windows 7 coming to the end of its support at the end of 2019 now would be an excellent time to upgrade.
You can buy these parts for yourself and fit, or we can take your machine give it a full certified test through clean and do all three upgrades.
We will then give the machine a new bill of health and a 1-year guarantee for £149.99. Please note terms and condition apply.
